There's nothing I love more than a good genre mash-up, and genre-bending recut trailers tend to be some of my favorite examples (if you haven't seen THE SHINING trailer recut as a romantic comedy, you haven't lived). This year, the crew at CineFix has just added another entry to the pantheon of greatness, re-imagining the Will Ferrell holiday classic ELF as a psychological thriller.
I suppose it's not much of a stretch to make the film about a grown man in an elf costume creepy, but man did they do a good job turning this into a SINGLE WHITE FEMALE-esque stalker thriller.
