Cool Horror Videos: Jamie Lee Curtis interview from 1980

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Here’s a nice treat for you fans of the original Scream Queen, Jamie Lee Curtis. The below video is an interview from 1980 with Ms. Curtis as she was promoting PROM NIGHT. Gotta love the hair! Said interview comes courtesy of Mick Garris, who conducted it and just unearthed it from his archives. (Garris of course went on to direct THE STAND, THE SHINING and RIDING THE BULLET.)

Curtis talks starting off in the business, making PROM NIGHT, getting the Laurie Strode role in HALLOWEEN, working with her mother in THE FOG, and lots more. Enjoy!
