Some tragic news has swept the world of cinema today as reports come in that film critic Roger Ebert has passed away at the age of 70 due to complications from cancer. According to the Chicago Sun-Time, where Ebert served as a critic since 1967, Ebert died early Thursday afternoon. He had just recently announced on his blog Wednesday that he was going through radiation treatment due to the resurfacing of his cancer. It’s truly sad to see him go and we may never see another film critic reach the heights that Ebert did.

There really are no words for such a tragic loss and our deepest condolences go out to the friends and family of Roger Ebert. So, in honor of Mr. Ebert, we’ve dedicated today’s Cool Horror Video to him, where he reviews Sam Raimi’s cult classic THE EVIL DEAD.
