Cool Horror Videos: Slashstreet’s back with ‘As Long As You’re Bloody’

Slashstreet Boys Jason Voorhees

Every year, slasher icons Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Leatherface, and Ghostface can be counted on to get together and perform songs as the boy band known as Slashstreet Boys. Their collaboration began in 2017 with "Slashing Bodies", continued last year with "I'll Kill You That Way" (we shared those videos HERE), and this year Slashstreet's back with their new hit "As Long As You're Bloody".

These songs are the genius work of the folks who upload videos to YouTube under the name The Merkins. Of course, each one of these have been parodies of familiar Backstreet Boys songs; in the case of "As Long As You're Bloody", the inspiration was the BSB song "As Long As You Love Me".

The slashers who really get to shine in this one are Jason (with flowing blonde hair making it obvious he's the Nick Carter stand-in), Michael, and Ghostface, but Freddy and Leatherface help with the harmony… and Leatherface shows his belly to add some sex appeal.

Check out the latest Slashstreet Boys video below, and to see all of the slasher songs The Merkins have to offer, head over to their YouTube channel.
