Cool Video: Birdemic gets a VFX upgrade!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

So this is fun! Now, I've talked about my love of bad movie before – and the cult "romantic thriller" BIRDEMIC specifically – which was directed by bad movie auteur James Nguyen (REPLICA), and was about badly rendered CGI birds attacking two would-be lovers, Rod (Alan Bagh) and Natalie (Whiteney Moore). Furthermore, the film was a complete failure in every aspect – from terrible acting, to worse audio, to the worst special effects imaginable!

And that's where the YouTube channel Corridor Crew comes in! They are a VFX channel, which has some pretty noteworthy videos to their name, including "VFX Artists React" and "What if Marvel Movies Were Rated-R?", and they decided to spend their time redoing the historically terrible effects of the film from scratch! They were even able to get star Whitney Moore to come back for some pick-up shots! It's a fun watch to see what went into their recreation, as well as the final result itself!

Anyway, here's the official synopsis of film:

A sexy lingerie model and a successful software salesman go on a weekend getaway to a quaint northern California town. The exploding birds attack!

But what do you guys think? Fans of the original film? If so, do you think the crew actually improve the movie? Either way, sound off below!
