Cool Videos: A Lego Hobbit Halloween

In celebration of Halloween (and presumably the upcoming cinematic return to Middle Earth through THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY), stop-motion group Brotherhood Workshop has put together this special short featuring some Hobbits, some cloaks, and one very protective Númenórean guardian.

It’s a great little movie, with the stop-motion (and effects in general) working very well and most of the voices being spot-on (though when they’re off, they’re really off). The conceit is simple: Merry and Pippin are up to their usual mischief, until hastily-made plans go awry and… well… I’ll just let you watch it for yourself.
