I’m sure plenty of you have chalked up headshots in a first-person shooter videogame or two (dozen), but it’s not a perspective you see often in live-action, outside of the short sequence in the otherwise unremarkable DOOM.
But this music video for the Biting Elbows’ song “The Stampede”, directed by Ilya Naishuller, delivers a brief blast of POV insanity. Ben Affleck was recently considering a POV project called LINE OF SIGHT, and while I don’t know if I could handle an entire feature-length movie in this style, these three minutes are certainly effective and exciting.
