Now, this is just awesome. KUNG FURY, an over-the-top slice of '80's nostalgic action complete with Adolf Hitler, a Norse God, Vikings, a Lamborghini, headbands, Uzi's, and even a Nintendo Power Glove is the kind of visual mash-up that you could only dream about. It's part brilliance, part insanity, and all fun with some really impressive CGI given the low budget aspect of the project. The film is from Swedish filmmaker David Sandberg, who was "driven by a strong will, love for the 80s and action movies" to create KUNG FURY and from the looks of it, his passion paid off.

Take a look:

Here's the synopsis:

KUNG FURY is an over-the-top action comedy written and directed by David Sandberg. The movie features: arcade-robots, dinosaurs, nazis, vikings, norse gods, mutants and a super kung fu-cop called Kung Fury, all wrapped up in an 80s style action packed adventure.

Sandberg is trying to raise money to cover the costs of post-production, particularly with the need for a 3D artist, 3D animator, visual effects artist, compositor, etc. as well as the costs of the various rewards offered for the campaign. You can check out Sandberg's Kickstarter page here and contribute to your nostalgic heart's content.
