With LES MISERABLES hitting Blu-ray this week, it seems to be the perfect time for a brand new Honest Trailer. This also marks a momentous occasion for the series of web videos as this is the first completely musical Honest Trailer! Witness every single bit of narration sung, even when they don’t have to be!

I saw LES MISERABLES when it first opened and it is a very good movie with two very specific drawbacks: Amanda Seyfried and Russell Crowe. Apart from those two tone def actors, the movie is excellent. I was surprised at how good Hugh Jackman was and I think if LINCOLN had not come out this year that he would have won Best Actor.

A fully sung-through musical is a very interesting style for a movie as hearing everything in a sing-song manner can be a bit off putting, but director Tom Hooper pulls it off pretty effectively. I am not a huge musical fan, but LES MISERABLES was a pleasant experience, despite the emotionally crushing and depressing plot. But, if you are in the mood for a sumptuous Hollywood style musical epic, this is for you. Everyone else, check out the Honest Trailer below.
