If you’ll remember, before he won an Oscar for THE SOCIAL NETWORK, writer Aaron Sorkin created a TV series called “Studio 60.” At the time there was a lot of concern because NBC was launching two series revolving around the antics of a late-night comedy show – “Studio 60” and “30 Rock.” Well it didn’t take long for audiences to choose who would stay and who would go and Sorkin’s series hit the skids fairly quickly. Showing he’s a good sport, Sorkin showed up on last night’s “30 Rock” playing himself and jabbed at his failed series, Facebook and even dropped some hints on Angry Birds.
It’s classic walk-and-talk Sorkin and the dialogue is so sharp, I wonder if he wrote he scene himself. I gotta admit, the dude’s a pretty good actor (he also had a cameo in THE SOCIAL NETWORK as an ad executive)!
