Cool Videos: Real Hollywood assistants mock the typical studio pitch meeting

On the heels of my Top 10 Ways to Save the Hollywood Blockbuster comes this video that illustrates everything that is wrong with the Hollywood studio system. A part of the ongoing Tinsel Zone series of videos, this clip satirizes what the average pitch meeting is like at agencies like William Morris Endeavor with agents like Ari Emmanuel (the inspiration for the ENTOURAGE character).

The short plays with the visual style of episodes of THE TWILIGHT ZONE but focuses on the terrible ideas that pop out during pitch meetings for the shittiest of shitty movies. We have seen a lot of these movies come to reality, which makes this video even more depressing. Hopefully the individuals being mocked by this will watch it and realize how idiotic they sound.

Directed by Zach Copeland, the cast of this short are all actors, but the series is created and written with the input from actual employees of Hollywood agencies. Hopefully nobody loses their job over this, but at least someone from within the system is saying what we are all thinking.
