If you were growing up in the 90s, there’s a good chance that you watched the Nickelodeon line-up which included gems like: ROCKO’S MODERN LIFE, HEY ARNOLD!, DOUG, ANGRY BEAVERS, AHHHHH! REAL MONSTERS and RUGRATS.
Most of these shows had little bits of adult humor spliced in them, even RUGRATS. Tommy’s Dad? Grandpa? They always let something slip. But what if things suddenly took a dark turn? Isn’t that what happens with every movie these days? Funny or Die debuted a video of what a live-action RUGRATS film would be like. Angelica went from bad to worse and Mae Whitman is spot on as the blonde haired brat. Another actress that has one of the kiddos down is another ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT alum, Alia Shawkat who takes on Chuckie.
