COOL VIDEOS: The trailer for Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 5!

The 5th season of STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS is coming at you like a bantha stampede, featuring a cavalcade of action and characters that trump just about everything that was done in the prequels. And I dig the prequels (with the obvious disdain for certain aspects)! This show had kind of a rocky start and has been hit or miss in terms of story and character choices, but damned if they didn’t get their act together and rally the last few seasons of the show.

It’s a bit like the darker, edgier Star Wars we really wanted and that Lucas tried to deliver in Episode 3, but just couldn’t quite get there. Although I’m sick of the whole Clone Wars era, I think the show is still a solid animated program and season 5 looks to deliver some genuine kick ass action.
