Every once in a while a video mash-up comes along and, regardless of whether it works or not, makes you wonder how no one thought to do this before. Such is the 127 HOURS/Wile E. Coyote mash-up created by animator Rob Yulfo.
The concept of boulders fall on people in mountains desert terrains was heavily mined by Chuck Jones and his crew during the Looney Tunes salad days, so of course it makes sense to have Coyote pinned underneath a rock and comically trying to extricate himself before resorting to some more drastic measures.
What’s perhaps best about this clip is the tease at the for Yulfo’s next project – THE KING’S SPEECH with star Porky Pig. Of course, if Warner Bros. animation shuts this whole operation down, we might not get any of these anymore. Check it out below.
