Variety reports this morning that Bradley Cooper, mostly known for his work on the show ‘Alias’ and the funny as shite WEDDING CRASHERS (he’s the a-hole boyfriend), has been cast as Rene Zellweger’s love interest in the upcoming scare flick CASE 39.
Maybe his image has been tainted from CRASHERS, but I just look at this dude and don’t like him- he did that good of a job playing the chode you’d like to just throw through a meat grinder. Which would be great if he was the villain here… but the love interest? Well… seeing as I don’t care for Zellweger all that much either, I guess things could be a whole heck of a lot worse.
CASE 39, directed by Christian Alvart (ANTIBODIES), is about a social worker who saves an abused girl from her parents but later discovers things are not as they seem. How do they seem exactly? I guess that’s what we have to wait to find out!
The flick also stars Ian McShane, Texas Battle (FD3), and Sam Easton, and is scheduled to start filming September 5th in Vancouver, B.C. (aka Hollywood II). Stick around for more upcoming goodies on CASE 39 as we hear it!
