Director Frank Coraci, mostly known for his work with Adam Sandler, has gotten himself attached to HAWAIIAN DICK for New Line. Gotta say that the concept sounds cool:
“Hawaiian” tells the story of a down-on-his-luck big-city detective who gets involved in a kidnapping case of a local island girl who turns up dead but won’t stay that way.

The script is courtesy of FREDDY VS. JASON scribes Damian Shannon and Mark Swift. Gonna be quite a mixture of tones in this one which is described as a supernatural private eye thriller. No word on casting yet, but they damn sure better hire some hula girls!
