Corey Feldman wants Frog Brothers to return in revamped Lost Boys series

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Earlier today we passed along word that the CW was going back to the drawing board with their upcoming TV series based on THE LOST BOYS. And it looks like none other than original LOST BOYS actor Corey Feldman thinks its time that the powers that be behind the scenes at the CW try their hand at bringing back The Frog Brothers. The original Frog Brothers.

Feldman tweeted:

HMMMMM……?@JamisonNewland?  R U thinking what I’m thinking?: CW's The Lost Boys Series Starts Over, Recasts Roles and Reshoots New Pilot

I don't know if Jamison Newland is thinking what Feldman's thinking but I sure as hell am. Bring back the original Frog Brothers, The CW! Trust me. You won't need to revamp your series any further after committing to that decision. Haha. But whatever ends up happening with the new LOST BOYS TV series (read all of the previous details HERE) we can always rest assured that Joel Schumacher's original is still safe and sound upon our Blu-ray racks. And that makes me smile.

Speaking of Joel Schumacher's original movie, that flick followed:

Teenage brothers Michael (Jason Patric) and Sam (Corey Haim) move with their mother (Dianne Wiest) to a small town in northern California. While the younger Sam meets a pair of kindred spirits in geeky comic-book nerds Edward (Corey Feldman) and Alan (Jamison Newlander), the angst-ridden Michael soon falls for Star (Jami Gertz) — who turns out to be in thrall to David (Kiefer Sutherland), leader of a local gang of vampires. Sam and his new friends must save Michael and Star from the undead.

Schumacher directed the original THE LOST BOYS movie from a screenplay written by Janice Fischer, James Jeremias, and Jeffrey Boam. Harvey Bernhard produced the classic vampire which starred Corey Haim, Jami Gertz, Edward Herrmann, Barnard Hughes, Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Corey Feldman, and Dianne Wiest. Warner Bros. unleashed the teenager monster movie into a theater near your older parents back on July 31, 1987.
