Remakes aren’t just happening on the big screen, people. They’re happening on the little screen too. The Sci Fi Channel recently added former British Samurai David Anders, Battlestar Galactica cutie Kandyse McClure, Preston Bailey and Daniel Newman to the cast of their CHILDREN OF THE CORN remake. In the film, McClure and Anders star as a couple who decide to go on a driving trip as sort of a second honeymoon and somehow end up in a rural community with some freaky ass children. Bailey will play the young preacher of the community with Newman playing his right-hand man. The flick is currently shooting in and around Davenport, Iowa with a release scheduled for next year. Donald P. Borchers is directing the shenanigans from his own script.
