Covey Site/Trailer Up

It wasn’t too long ago when we saw a first glimpse at the poster for Renny Harlin’s THE COVENANT, and today it looks like we not only have a new trailer, but a suped up new site as well!


Head on over to www.jointhecovenant.com, and you’ll be able to check out all sorts of cool stuff, including the new trailer, a photo gallery, a timeline for how things went down hundreds of years ago, and even a tease of a frickin’ game that’s scheduled to be coming out! Pretty cool stuff and lots of attention for a movie that looks like a vamped up straight to DVD effort, but I’m not complaining!


Seriously though, when I first saw the poster all I could think of was THE LOST BOYS, even though the poster looked nothing like any artwork for BOYS that I’ve ever seen. Then I watch the trailer, and that’s still all I can think about! Falling over the edge of a fog embanked cliff will always have that effect, I suppose. That being said, I’m not sure what to think about it yet… it certainly fits Harlin’s M.O. for entertaining trash, and the bit with the girl’s skirt was pretty awesome, yet it just looks kinda… I don’t know… 90’s-ish.
