Craig Robinson Adam Scott Ghosted TV Fox

Over the course of ten seasons and over two hundred episodes, The X-Files dipped their toes into the world of comedy on several occasions and most of the time, it worked out fairly well. Twentieth Century Fox is looking to build an entire show around those types of comedic X-Files episodes with Ghosted, a new series which is set to star Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) and Craig Robinson (The Office).

Ghosted is being described as a comedic X-Files which centers on "Leroy Wright (Craig Robinson), a cynical, hilarious skeptic, and Max Allison (Adam Scott), a genius “true believer” in the paranormal, who are hired by the Underground Investigative Service to look into the rampant “unexplained” activity in Los Angeles — all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race." It's still early days so the series doesn't yet have a release date, but this could well turn into something special if Robinson and Scott, who will also serve as executive producers, are able to pull it off.

What are some of your favourite comedic X-Files episodes?
