Having made the festival rounds under the title FURY: THE TALES OF RONAN PIERCE, director Kevin A. McCarthy's graphic novel-influenced tale of vigilante justice has been re-titled CRAZED and will soon be coming to VOD and DVD in the United States courtesy of Uncork'd Entertainment.

Starring Michael McCarthy, who wrote the screenplay with the director, CRAZED is the story of

vigilante cop Ronan Pierce. He is fueled by a tragic past, and the recent abduction of his wife McKenzie has Ronan's appetite for vengeance completely unbounded. Relentlessly searching for clues, Ronan systematically unchains his rage on a city full of psychopaths, gangs, corruption and the unrivaled evil-doings of the Luna Cartel. Responsible for both his daughter's death and his wife's abduction, the Luna Cartel enslaves thousands of young beautiful women from around the world and harvests organs from all of it's other victims. Joined by his partner Rex and a young circus clown named Karina, Ronan 'paints the town red' in his search for bloody justice.

Edward Payson earned a credit as special guest director. McCarthy's co-stars include Wade Gallagher, Brad Potts, Harry Aspinwall, Jordan Elizabeth, Joel Wynkoop, Robert Crayton, Rick Montgomery Jr., Circus-Szalewski, David Astone, James Knowlton, Heidi Pitts, Patrick Curran, and genre regulars R.A. Mihailoff and Kane Hodder.

CRAZED's low budget is quite evident in the trailer, but that could be part of its charm, and the story and style seem like they could provide a fun viewing experience. If you'd like to check it out, watch for it to hit iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and other VOD services on October 4th, with a DVD release to follow on November 8th.
