Say what you will, but as far as horror flicks go, WOLF CREEK rocked the hisouse. Moody, dark, gorey and best of all-absolutely terrifying! What a great movie to break up the holidays, if you know what I’m sayin’.

But if you missed your chance, have no fear, as the DVD release of CREEK is near (wow, did I really just say that?)! Slap a big ol’ bloody red X on March 2nd, as CREEK is looking to make a killing when this DVD hits. And why not? CREEK now holds the number 1 spot for the highest grossing R-rated Aulstralian film in history! Surpassing it’s predecessor (CHOPPER) nearly 3 times over, racking up a total of $15.8 million bones. Not bad for a flick that cost less than $2 million to make.

So what can we expect to see on the DVD? Check it:

– an exclusive audio commentary with Greg McLean, Matt Hearn, Cassandra Magrath and Kestie Morassi

– a 50minute Making Of Wolf Creek special

– Meet Mike Taylor — an interview with John Jarrett

– Deleted scenes

Nothing too out there or crazy, but the flick is good enough to stand alone, without needing an assload of extras to make up for it. Do yourself a favor, pre-order it, reserve it at your local video store, request it over NetFlix, and be there March 2nd, when CREAK crashes DVDs everywhere.

Thanks to Charles for the heads up!
