You guys remember back in May, when we told you about a little event coming our way from Fangoria and Lightening Media? The event is called Fangoria FrightFest and will actually be a film festival of sorts. FrightFest will see the release of several little-known genre flicks with one eventually scoring a theatrical release.
Well one of the features entered into FrightFest is Jaume Balaguero’s long-awaited flick FRAGILE. Now we’ve actually told you about this flick a while ago… and The Arrow himself has already had a chance to check it out. But where has this thing been? Who knows. What we do know is that the feature will be coming at us this Summer via the Fangoria FrightFest!
And to celebrate we’ve got a look at the flick’s newest trailer over in our videos section! You can actually just scroll below to check that shite out. Then if you’re feeling antsy you can head on over to Fangoria to check out a slightly different version of the trailer. Enjoy!
Set and filmed on Britain’s Isle of Wight, the award-winning Fragile takes place in a children’s hospital that has been the scene of a railroad accident and is due to shut down after nearly a century of service. Calista Flockhart stars as Amy, an American nurse who is sent over from London to help out and discovers that the eight kids who still reside there believe something invisible — and menacing — is haunting the premises.
FRAGILE stars Calista Flockhart (below), Richard Roxburgh and Elena Anaya. The creepy feature will be hitting DVD on August 6th with a featurette exploring the film’s visual effects, a behind-the-scenes featurette and trailers for all the films entered in Fangoria’s FrightFest. But before that you can head on over HERE between June 21st and July 19th to vote for which of the eight FrightFest entries you’d like to see on the big screen!
