Much like his character, Ethan Hunt, Tom Cruise risks his life doing death-defying stunts – and all for our entertainment. Okay, Hunt may be doing it to save the world, but both are worthy causes. In the new trailer for MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT we see just how far Hunt (and Cruise) will go to save the day, doing anything from leaping out of a window to leaping out of a plane. He takes a lot of leaps, but do you know which leap is the biggest? The leap of faith. Yeah, let that little nugget rattle in your brain.
The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.

The first trailer may have been more stylish, but we get more details about the plot here. Well, maybe not the precise plot, and what Hunt is doing with Sean Harris’ Soloman Lane, but we do know much more about Cavill’s character. Hunt may be spending a lot of time outrunning him, which is a smart idea; I wouldn’t want to be on Superman’s bad side either.
