And the H2 hits just keep on coming! Rob Zombie can’t seem to stop announcing cast member after cast member, and that’s just dandy with me! With the amount of attention being given to every little statement regarding this flick, it looks like H2 is shaping up to be THE Horror Event of the Year!

Today’s news comes in the form of yet another cast announcement. Actor, Mark Christopher Lawrence (right) will be taking on the role of Deputy King, a member of the Haddonfield police force, according to Zombie. I’m thinking this role should be a walk in the park for Mr. Lawrence. Why, you ask? Well, because he has already played the exact same character before. Confused? Don’t be. See, Mr. Lawrence was actually in Zombie’s original HALLOWEEN, but got cut from the final print. Pretty interesting stuff!

I’m glad that Mr. Lawrence is in the flick. I’ve actually seen his work on the TV show CHUCK, and he’s a fun guy to watch on screen. Plus, picturing him in a policeman’s uniform reminds me of another awesome movie cop… the one who’s friends with John McClane. Break out the Twinkies!

H2 begins principle photography on February 23rd in Atlanta, Georgia. For some reason, I think we’ll be getting more updates before then.
