Well folks I suppose it’s just about time for the onslaught of “True Blood” Season 5 news to start rolling our way. I say this because earlier this month we gave you the first bit of casting news for the vampire drama’s fifth season and now here I am today with even more!
According to the fine folks over at TV Line veteran character actress Dale Dickey is the latest name to join the hit HBO series. Dickey (right) joins the show as ‘Annie,’ the mother of the late werewolf packmaster ‘Marcus.’
Powerful and respected within the pack due to her late son’s position, Annie is determined to perform a particular ritual. Might said ritual involve making Alcide pay for whacking her demon spawn?
The actress and fellow new cast member Lucy Griffiths join the other “True Blood” veterans like Anna Paquin (below), Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, Nelsan Ellis, Alexander Skarsgård, Deborah Ann Woll and Joe Manganiello in “True Blood’s” fifth season. I’m sure we’ll be getting a lot more “True Blood” updates as we enter the new year so be sure to check back for more.
