Daniel Craig's plate is getting awfully full right now, and it's not with future missions as 007. Craig is in the midst of closing a deal that would have him joining the cast of Steven Soderbergh's heist flick LOGAN LUCKY, along with Katherine Heigl. The film already stars Adam DriverSeth MacFarlaneChanning Tatum and Riley Keough as part of the ensemble that seeks to pull off a job during a NASCAR race. And while Soderbergh's first film since 2013's SIDE EFFECTS is certainly a big deal, all the focus on Craig's involvement seems to be on how this affects any future he may have as James Bond

Daniel Craig has said on a number of occasions that he is not keen on continuing as the super-spy nor shooting another Bond film when he was asked right around the release of SPECTRE. Of course, that has led to tons of speculation on whether he might change his mind over time, but the way Craig's calendar seems to be adding projects, it would appear as if he is trying to make no room for 007 to find a spot.

In addition to LOGAN LUCKY, which goes into production in the fall, Craig recently committed to the limited television series PURITY, which is expected to run for 20 episodes over the course of two seasons. And while there is no concrete time frame set for when Eon Productions might let to get the ball rolling on another Bond film, you can bet they'd prefer to get the ball rolling sooner than later, if Craig is serious about not reprising the role.

One interesting note from Deadline's report on the matter is that Jamie Bell has spoken with Bond producer Barbara Broccoli about the James Bond role, so fire up the rumor mill… There's another name to throw into the mix as a possible James Bond for the future.
