Now just the other day we told you how David Fincher’s THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO has secured the release date of December 12, 2011.

Now that’s all fine and dandy but do you remember back at the beginning of June? Back then word had it 007 himself Daniel Craig (right) was eyeing a starring role in the film. Well folks, it seems that was indeed the case because it’s been confirmed today over at Deadline that Daniel Craig has just signed on to play journalist ‘Mikael Blomkvist’ in David Fincher’s THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO.
