Dark Castle’s UWM

I really dug this summer’s ORPHAN, and I’m a huge fan of the recent HOUSE OF WAX remake. The one thing to two have in common? Director Jaume Collet-Serra.

Looks like Collet-Serra is teaming up with Dark Castle once again to direct Liam Neeson, January Jones (right), and Diane Kruger (below) in UNKOWN WHITE MALE, about a man who awakens from a coma to find that someone else has assumed his identity, and no one, including his wife, believes him. With the help of a young woman, he sets out to prove who he is.

Jones is set to play the wife, while Kruger is set to play a taxi driver who helps Neeson out along the way. Nice! While it doesn’t necessarily sound like hardcore horror, I can see Collet-Serra doing wonders with a project like this, and interjecting his own sense of horror into the story. Plus, we’re talking Dark Castle here! Nothing like stealing one’s identity to really freak someone the f*ck out!
