First off, above and immediately below are our first looks at the Batpod, Batman’s wheels when the Batmobile’s getting a tune-up. This is the first I had heard he’d even be rollin’ in a different vehicle, but I guess Batman DOES like to switch it up every know and then.
Then we have a couple pics of Bats in action – well, standing still action!
Below that (courtesy of Flickr) we have our first peeks at Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent and Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes (the character Katie Holmes played before she was fired- urm – quit…)
Finally, in the tale-with-a-grain-of-salt department, Film Ick is running the rumor that Anthony Michael Hall will be playing Edward Nygma in the flick. (I wondered, when Hall was announced, if he was going to be playing The Riddler, after Hall cryptically said his role was a huge surprise… Anthony Michael Hall in a mega-blockbuster?! Huge surprise indeed!) Film Ick also says private detective character “Jason Bard” makes an appearance (this is significant if you’re a comic geek) – but stress that this is rumor, so I shall too…
As Comic-Con looms, I think we can expect further glimpses from THE DARK KNIGHT (I predict a full Joker reveal) so we’ll keep you updated, as always!
