Dark Macabre trailer

Oh, I kinda like this sick little focker from Indonesia that I just checked out! It’s called MACABRE (a fitting enough title for a horror flick) and it features a pretty sweet array of intense shit in its foreign language trailer, which is why I took the liberty of posting it below. Definitely check it out! I particularly enjoyed the bit with the chainsaw.

Take a stab at the flick’s plot: Six friends on an interstate road trip come across a strange girl out of nowhere, who wanders aimlessly into their path. They decide to give her a ride to her isolated house by the end of the woods. Upon arrival, the girl’s mother insists that their kindness should be repaid with a dinner feast. This is where the night turns into a crimson-hell for the 6 friends, who find themselves trapped and hunted down by the mother and her cult-like family, born and raised to systematically eliminate unsuspecting passers-by for one nefarious reason. Slaughtered one by one, everybody will bleed, the darkest of nights never looked so red.

Sounds like one killer good time! MACABRE was written and directed by The Mo Brothers, which can only mean that we’ll be getting Mo’ gore and Mo’ guts than ever! Sorry, I couldn’t resist. The cast includes Ario Bayu, Shareefa Daanish, Julie Estelle, Ruly Lubis, Daniel Mananta, Mike Muliadro, Arifin Putra, Dendy Subangil, Imelda Therinne, and Sigi Wimala. Sadly, I don’t know yet when this flick will be slashing into the States.
