This morning we all woke to the news of Lions Gate officially naming Darren Lynn Bousman as the director of SAW 2 (see article HERE), a story which broke on JoBlo.com weeks ago.
Bousman, being the horror buff, and all around cool guy that he is, dropped us a line today about the fast-tracked, highly anticipated sequel. Check it out!
“Things are being kept pretty tightlipped about the story at this point. One thing I can say is, James and Leigh have been an amazing asset to me in creating and shaping the sequel. Many key players from the original production team will return to maintain the feel of the first film, while allowing me to introduce new disturbing and horrific elements into the SAW universe. I am very lucky that Twisted Pictures and Lions Gate have surrounded me with such a great team.”
