Daryl Hannah back as a blind samurai in Kill Bill 3?

When we last left Elle Driver, she was violently flailing in Buck’s trailer after Beatrix Kiddo aka “The Bride” (Uma Thurman) plucked out her one good eye.

Kiddo walks right out the door with no regrets of what she’s done, and just leaves Driver there to fend for herself. That’s the end of Driver, or at least that’s what we thought.

Daryl Hannah who plays the vicious Driver insinuates in an interview with Film24 that this isn’t the end of her character. “He always meant it as a trilogy,” Hannah says of Quentin Tarantino’s plans.

So, what does Hannah think will become of Driver? “Think about it. There’s always been a tradition of blind Samurais and you never actually saw her expire in the other film.” Girls got a point. Tarantino loves to drop hints himself, but hardly anything is known about the third installment except for the fact that it’s due in 2014.

Sadly, those were the only tidbits Hannah gave out. I’ll wait as long as I possibility have to for the next film. I wonder if Driver will fight Kiddo’s Daughter, B.B. That would be an interesting battle.
