Date Changes Galore

It’s not always easy to be able to plan ahead these days when it comes to movie releases. Sometimes the first announced date remains in stone, other times the release date seems to change every other week (HOSTEL being the perfect example). Here’s a few recently announced date changes to mark your calendar with.

First off is the Warner Bros. alien invasion flick THE VISITING, starring hottie Nicole Kidman. Originally slated for a summer release, it’s now looking more like a Fall or Winter release instead- but luckily enough, it’s still coming out sometime this year.

The WB’s THE REAPING release has also been announced. The Hillary Swank chasers-of-the-biblical-plague flick is being set to break the summer box office August 11th- ending the summer movie season with a hopeful bang. Very cool indeed, let’s hope it kicks as much ass as it sounds like it will.

And finally, in other news, the sequel to last year’s SIN CITY has been pushed back for a release in the summer of 2007- and not later 2006 like originally thought. Good news though? Brittany Murphy, Michael Clarke Duncan and Mickey Rourke have all signed up to star, with Robert Rodriguez coming back to direct. Yes, it’s a ways to wait, but you know it will be worth it, so it’s all good in the hood.

So mark your calendars and stay tuned for more info. on these, and any other date changes that may happen to pop up.
