One of the more entertaining directors out there is David R. Ellis. The man gave us FINAL DESTINATION 2 and SNAKES ON A PLANE, so you know the guy can make an entertaining movie. Not necessarily ‘good’ but entertaining…

Ellis sat down with the boys at Moviehole.net and chatted about a couple of upcoming projects, including SHARK NIGHT (which lenses this summer and screams of getting the 3D treatment), WAR MONKEYS (which features monkeys blowing each other up in space), and BAD LUCK, which is set to star the beautiful Milla Jovovich.

We’ve heard about SHARK NIGHT and WAR MONKEYS before (what a great title, BTW), but not about BAD LUCK. With a budget around $30M, what’s this f*cker about anyway?

[The film] tells of a group of friends who find their lives changed when the superstitions they don’t believe in begin to come true.

Nice. Sounds like the perfect vehicle for Ellis and Jovovich. I can dig it, yo! If you want to hear more about all the cool upcoming shite Ellis has on his plate, be sure to check out the full chat right over HERE, and stick around for more on SHARK NIGHT, WAR MONKEYS, and BAD LUCK as we hear it!
