Scott from over at Horror-Movies.ca pointed us in the direction of their latest exclusive interview, this time with the writer/producer/director team Ana Clavell and James Dudelson on their latest effort DAY OF THE DEAD 2, and CREEPSHOW 3.
If you’re like me, then the idea of both these ridiculously pointless sequels makes you want to throw up in a toilet and suck it back through a straw- chunks and all. So hearing what these kats had to say shed a little bit more light onto what the hell they were thinking. Or something like that
My company owns the rights: I have been in involved with Day of the Dead for twenty years. The version that the fans love from Anchor Bay we licensed and worked hard to give the best quality DVD out there.
I’m sure those who love the DVD love it for director George Romero more than this guy, but ok. I suppose owning the rights gives you the right to make pointless dribble. But what about CREEPSHOW 3?
The stories are solid, the acting is superb, the make up effects are really gruesome. Creepshow 3 is very close to the original, it’s five stories and a wraparound. The tone is partly dark humor, partly scary.
Oh man, I just feel dread seeping out of both these projects. To check out the entire interview (you really should, it’s very quite interesting), go ahead and click HERE.
