Props to Psychocandy for slipping this news our way.
With October nearly upon us, the folks at DC Comics are prepping a couple of titles featuring major horror franchises THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and FRIDAY THE 13TH! No word on how they got ol’ hockey puss from Avatar Comics (quite possibly the deal was up with them), but hey, at least someone’s using him, and damn it if he and Leatherface look slick!
The first one out of the stalls is Leatherface and company with issue #1 hitting the shelves November 15th, with Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning writing and Wesley Craig doing the art thang. Jason busts out December 13th, with Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray co-writing and the art provided by newcomer Adam Archer. No word on if these are a one-off, a mini-series or (better yet) an ongoing series, so stay glued to the message boards and the like.
