Dead Rising: Endgame Pat Williams Jesse Metcalfe

Despite the fact that DEAD RISING: WATCHTOWER has been streaming on Crackle for around fourteen months now, I still haven't gotten around to watching the live action video game adaptation. Part of the reason why may be the fact that I'm completely out of my element with this particular property – I hadn't even heard of the Dead Rising game series until WATCHTOWER was announced.

Regardless, the DEAD RISING franchise continues to move forward, with a sequel entitled DEAD RISING: ENDGAME set to start streaming on Crackle on June 20th.

Picking up where WATCHTOWER left off, ENDGAME

drops us into the zombie-infested quarantined zone of East Mission City where investigative reporter Chase Carter must stop a secret government conspiracy which, though seemingly aimed at ending the country’s zombie epidemic, will also kill millions of innocent civilians.

Pat Williams directed the film from a screenplay by Michael Ferris and Tim Carter.

WATCHTOWER stars Jesse Metcalfe, Dennis Haysbert, Keegan Connor Tracy, and Patrick Sabongui reprise their roles and have been joined by Billy Zane, Marie Avgeropoulos, Ian Tracey, Jessica Harmon, Victor Webster, and Camille Sullivan.

Crackle has now released a trailer and poster for DEAD RISING: ENDGAME, both of which can be seen below.
