Some incredibly cool news to share with you today, as a film featuring this site’s fearless leader has been picked up by arguably the best home video distributor in town.

Shout! Factory has acquired from DC MEDIAS the U.S and Canadian distribution rights to popular French horror action thriller DEAD SHADOWS, produced and directed by David Cholewa and starring our very own John “The Arrow” Fallon! Cheers, my man!

In this deal, Shout! Factory secured extensive rights to DEAD SHADOWS, including home entertainment, digital and broadcast for cross-platform releases. Shout! Factory plans a strategic rollout of the film on all packaged media, electronic-sell-through (EST), video-on-demand (VOD), subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) and television.

DEAD SHADOWS is set to hit U.S and Canadian home entertainment marketplace and a variety of digital entertainment platforms later this year. It also stars Fabian Wolfrom, Blandine Marmigère and Rurik Sallé.

David Cholewa’s first feature film tells the terrifying story of a young man, Chris, whose parents were brutally killed 11 years ago, on the same day that the comet of Haley could be seen from earth. Tonight, a new comet is going to appear and everyone in his building are getting ready for a party to celebrate the event. There’s even an apocalypse theory going around. As the night falls, Chris starts to discover that people are acting strange – and it seems to somehow be connected to the comet. People are becoming disoriented and violent and it doesn’t take long before they start mutating into something from beyond this world. In a fight for survival, Chris has to try to escape from his building with the help from some other tenants – but will they make it out alive?

We’ll let you know when an official release date is announced. In the meantime, celebrate like a true Arrow in the Head fan and get shitfaced in honor of this terrific news!
