It would appear that after the Dowdle Bros. made getting stuck in an elevator super creepy, it’ll become the new go-to location for horror/suspense flicks. Take this thriller for example: ELEVATOR, which comes to us from one of the producers of DEAD SNOW and director Stig Svendsen. While there doesn’t appear to be a supernatural element at play here, the flick still deals with terror in close quarters: Trapped in the lift with a group of people sucks already, but it would suck even more if one of them was going to explode.
And that’s the set-up for ELEVATOR, as evidenced by its simple synopsis: Nine people stuck in an elevator – one has a bomb. They’ll do anything to survive.
The film stars Tehmina Sunny, John Getz, Shirley Knight, Joey Slotnick, Devin Ratray, Christopher Backus and Anita Briem. There’s no release date as of yet, but we’ve got the trailer below to get you pumped. Going down!
