Deadpool 3: T.J. Miller won’t be back, says Reynolds “hates” him

Actor and comedian T.J. Miller has stated he will never work with Ryan Reynolds again after some uncomfortable moments on the Deadpool set.

On a recent episode of The Adam Carolla Show podcast, T.J. Miller opened up about a particularly awkward experience he had on the set of the Deadpool movies, taking jabs through their characters, Wade Wilson/Deadpool and Weasel. “As the character, he was, like, horrifically mean to me. But to me. As if I’m Weasel…He was like, ‘You know what’s great about you, Weasel? You’re not the star, but you do just enough exposition that it’s funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.”

T.J. Miller also suggested Reynolds was quite insecure on the Deadpool set, saying, “I love him as a comedian, but I think after he got super, super famous from the first Deadpool, then things kinda changed. I think he was like, ‘See? You guys see?’”

All in all, T.J. Miller says he would “would not work with him again…I think it’s weird that he hates me.”

Yeah, right, T.J., Ryan Reynolds’ supposed Deadpool attitude towards you has nothing to do with your utter disintegration as a potential property. Certainly Ryan Reynolds never got wind of you allegedly physically harming an Uber driver, being the subject of sexual assault accusations, calling in a fake bomb threat on an Amtrak train, or being deemed a “bully” by co-workers. We’re not saying Reynolds actually despises Miller or that these would be reasons, but sometimes a little self-reflection can help one’s perspective.

Still, the former Silicon Valley star does wish the franchise well, even though he won’t be part of it anymore, thus officially removing him from his spot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadpool 3, which will be part of MCU’s Phase Six, is set for September 6th, 2024.
