It's been rumored that DEADPOOL will be released on home media sometime this spring, but this morning star Ryan Reynolds officially announced on Twitter that the film will be available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD on May 10th. Earlier this week the well-received comic book movie surpassed THE MATRIX RELOADED to become the highest grossing R-rated flick worldwide, and its total box office haul currently stands at $745 million, with $351 million of that coming from domestic theaters.

The full list of special features haven't been revealed yet, however we might have the first look at the cover art, courtesy of Best Buy and Amazon, and the former is also releasing a SteelBook version of the movie. If you're planning on picking up DEADPOOL, you can pre-order your copy through Amazon here.
