Pat told you about a week ago of the homeless zombie flick URBAN DECAY, and today Fangoria is hookin’ it up with a first glimpse of what these zombies are gonna look like!
Starring Dean Cain, Brooke Burns and Meat Loaf (!), and directed by Harry Basil, DECAY is about a zombie bum on a killing rampage. Good times? I think so! Plus, here’s what FX guy Vincent Guastini had to say about this production:
“The makeup was a huge, elaborate concept to pull off, complete with melting organs and a beating heart after it is torn in half. The film is very bloody—one of the goriest films I’ve worked on this year. My studio and I were responsible for all of the makeup effects, including the victims that the Bum Zombie kills and eats.
Tell me where this could possibly go wrong? The images of this zombie are pretty gross, and there’s even more if you click HERE. Surprised as hell that Cain and Meat Loaf are in this, as it screams super low budget, and yet it has ‘big names’, so maybe it’ll rank high in the quality department… or maybe it won’t, as STD’s seem to lack in that area. But hey- goriest movie of the year? I’m SO there!
