Just last Friday we told you about director Guillermo del Toro’s chat with SciFi Wire regarding the upcoming HELLBOY: THE GOLDEN ARMY. Today he’s at it again, this time dropping hints around a possible new TV series for Fox!
The series is called THE STRAIN, and according to del Toro, It’s horror.. It would be a really nasty, nasty fantasy… I already wrote the bible and the character arcs for each character and so forth, so I’m doing all the documents on it.
While he didn’t say too much more about the show, like what it would be about or anything of that nature, he did say that Fox is looking at it right now and if they end up seeing eye-to-eye on the project, we could be in store for one kick-ass TV show!
While I’m sure del Toro would only develop the show and maybe direct the Pilot, or random episodes (if he has time- the guy’s a machine!), it would still be exciting for him to at least produce a show like this, even if it is for TV.
