Demons (1985) Lamberto Bava Horror gem – The Best Horror Movie You Never Saw

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Welcome to a new episode of The Best Horror Movie You Never Saw, where we take a look at some of the horror films of yore that don't get the love we think they deserve. This week we're taking a peek at Lamberto Bava's deliciously gruesome Demons (WATCH IT HERE / OWN IT HERE), produced by horror icon Dario Argento.

At a time when many of us are missing the magic of actually going to the movies, DEMONS will fill you with nostalgia for the theatrical experience. Sure, during this theatrical experience the audience is systematically torn apart and transformed into blood-thirsty monsters from hell, but I think most of us would still risk it all for a chance to head to the cinema again…

Here's the official synopsis:

A strange masked man offers tickets to a horror movie sneak preview at the mysterious Metropol cinema. When a patron is accidentally scratched by a prop displayed in the lobby, she transforms into a flesh-ripping demon! One by one, the audience members mutate into horrible creatures hell-bent on destroying the world. Can anyone escape this gory orgy of terror?

And that's just the bloody tip of the iceberg, folks!

This episode was written by Eric Walkuski, narrated by Jason Hewlett, edited by Dustin Elkin, Produced by John Fallon and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
