The peeps at Fangoria are pros at getting ahold of little-known horror flicks and bringing them to light. Case in point, this film called DESCENDENTS, which appears to be an ambitious apocalyptic tale in the vein of CHILDREN OF MEN and 28 DAYS LATER (click HERE to visit the Official Site and see the teaser for yourself. According to the website, the film was shot in an impressive 9 days in Chile, with children ages 5-10 comprising the bulk of the cast. Said children are on the run from a brutal military carrying out executions across the land – and wouldn’t ya know it – they also have to contend with deadly “infected” people… I know, sounds like nothing new, but it might just turn out to be something special. Hell, Fangoria claims that director Jorge Olguin’s next film is going to be produced by Guillermo del Toro, so the guy must be on the right track!
