Those sly guys over at The Horror Channel scored some info. concerning Adam Mason’s upcoming horror flick THE DEVIL’S CHAIR, and boy does it sound like a fun ride!
I’m not too up-to-date on Mason’s first flick, BROKEN, but from what I’ve heard, it’s pretty damn good. That said, the possiblities of CHAIR kicking mucho ass is there, so bring it on. Here’s what Mason had to say about the film’s set-up:
“Its about a young guy called Nick, who takes his girlfriend to an abandoned asylum to, well, shag her. While they’re there they look about and find a room with a weird chair in it that looks like a cross between an electric chair and some kind of fetish sex chair! Long story short – the chair comes to life and drains Nick’s girlfriend of all her blood. As Nick desperately tries to free her, she disappears … leaving Nick hysterical and covered in her blood.”
Blood sucking chair, shagging chicks in abandoned asylums…. yeah, I’m totally there! The poster here is lookin’ pretty sweet, and based on that sweet premise, I can’t really see how it could go wrong. But who knows these days, sometimes the best sounding flicks end up being shite…. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
