Now before you get to excited, I’ve got to tell you right off the bat: I’m not here to talk about anything live-action. No new TV series or movie here. What we do have is a brand new comic heading our way… sort of.
The guys over at Comics Alliance just got the good word that a group of comic names had an idea for their own crossover comic. What would this comic feature? Why Showtime’s ‘Dexter’ battling FRIDAY THE 13TH’s ‘Jason Voorhees’ with a little HACK/SLASH thrown in of course! Would you like a few moments of alone time to take care of that excitement? It’s alright… I’ll wait.
Well that was quick… But let’s not get to ahead of ourselves here. This comic is very much unofficial and there’s a good chance it’ll never actually happen… but come on! How can it not? While this would be amazing to see in print the chances of securing all the rights are very unlikely… But we can hope right?
What we do have is a look at the character confrontation of the popular genre names on a one page comic sheet. Oh what a tease… This little piece of gold comes from writer Scott Allie, artist Tim Seeley, colorist Dave Stewart and letterer Nate Piekos. So what’re you waiting for?
