We usually don’t pay much attention to the whole ‘gossip’ part of the industry here at AITH unless it’s something really juicy. I’m talking a piece of information that is just too good to pass up! Luckily for us today’s news falls directly into that category.
You see the guys over at Blind Gossip got their hands on an interesting piece of information that had a certain director offering the services of his wife to a certain producer for a certain directing gig. Intrigued? Of course you are! Heh… and I bet you thought this kind of stuff only happened in the movies… Here’s the scoop from Blind Gossip:
Apparently one day a producer (Oren Peli?) paid a visit to a potential director’s house to interview the director (Tod Williams?) for a much-sought after directing job (PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2?). Eventually the director’s wife (Gretchen Mol? – below), a television and B-movie actress, joined the interview and made it clear that she would sleep with the producer if her husband scored the directing gig. The next day the two sealed the deal and, behind her director husband’s back, the actress has continued to have an affair with said producer.
Mind you this is all ‘alleged’ so there might not be any truth to any of this… But it sure seems to fall into place, doesn’t it? Oh how I love all this gossip! … Not.
