Those sneaky f-ing brits. Maybe they’re trying to make up for their red-bellied glory in the American Revolution by sneaking super cool concept horror films in, right under our radar. Unless you’re a festival fanatic you’ve probably never heard of the 2003 release, THE LAST HORROR MOVIE, and that’s a sad state of affairs. The premise follows a serial killer who tapes his kills over a video store rental copy of the titular movie. The unlucky person who rents it gets to be the next victim, and then gets added to the tape. Creepy stuff, eh, particularly if your video store guy looks like mine. So keep your eyes out for this promising genre gem.

And don’t forget to check out the website, which takes the now familiar Blair Witch approach, yet finds a way to make it fresh and a little chilling.
